Digital Publication Terms of Use

1. Service Overview

PublishShelf (publishshelf.com) is platform for hosting digital publications: authors upload documents, set prices, receive payments. The platformis not an e-commerce marketplace or payment intermediary, doesn't collect sales fees, doesn't hold funds, doesn't participate in transactions between authors and buyers.

2. Direct Transaction

All reading access purchases occur directly between buyer & author: buyer transfers to (GCash/PayPal/Wise or mutually agreed method) into the author's account; Author confirms and grants reading access. Payment disputes resolved between both parties; Platform provides data records on system when valid requests received.

3. Platform Fee

The platform charges infrastructure rental fees through sales packages (based on number of digital documents and public duration), paid with prepaid credits. Credits are not cryptocurrency, do not earn interest, and are only used to purchase services on the platform and are non-refundable except in case of system errors.

4. Content Scope & Copyright Commitment

Digital Publicationonly accepts digital documents created or legally distributed by the account owner: handbooks, textbooks, professional materials, PDF courses, works by the uploader as author. Strictly prohibits uploading others' works, scanned documents, pirated materials, unauthorized translations, or content violating Vietnamese law.

When uploading, the author must declare the work's source and confirm copyright commitment; the system records timestamp, IP address, and commitment details as evidence. The author bearsfull legal responsibilityfor the content and rights to the uploaded material, including compliance with laws on publishing and intellectual property.

All publications must be reviewed before listing.Review is a good-faith screening step based on information provided by the uploader, not a legal guarantee or validation of the uploader's rights by the platform.

Violations result in publication removal, account lockdown without refund; the platform may provide uploader information (including commitment logs, IP, timestamp) to rights holders or authorities upon valid request.

5. Reader Rights

Reading rights are tied to the account, accessible on Digital Publication web/app,excluding download, copy, or redistribution rights. Reading rights persist throughout the publication's lifecycle on the platform; if removed due to author violation, the buyer works directly with the author regarding their rights.

6. Violation Report

Anyone can report violations directly on the publication page. The platform commits toreview and remove within 48 hoursfor clearly substantiated reports, following a remove-first-verify-later principle. Rights holders may submit requests with evidence; the platform will provide uploader information upon valid request. Rights holders needing deeper legal support may consult services atBanQuyen.ai.

7. Data & Account

Users are responsible for password security. Authors' banking information is only used to display payment codes on their document pages. The platform never requests OTP or bank passwords in any form.

8. Terms Update

Terms may be updated; new versions take effect upon posting here. Continued service use constitutes acceptance of current terms.
